EITHOS Student-Workshop 2: Raising Awareness

On December 10, 2024, the University of Bologna hosted a psycho-social workshop at its Forlì campus as part of the EITHOS project. The event, attended by 25 academic students, was led by Dr. Annalisa Plava and lasted two hours.

The workshop served as an opportunity to educate students about online identity theft and other emerging cyber threats. Participants learned strategies for preventing such crimes and were introduced to the cutting-edge technologies developed by the EITHOS project to combat cybercrime. Additionally, the session highlighted the impact of these threats on victims, adopting a victimology perspective to foster greater understanding and empathy.

To make the workshop engaging and informative, various interactive materials were used, including quizzes, comic strips, kit cards, guidelines, and educational articles. These resources were designed as part of the EITHOS awareness campaign to ensure participants left with practical knowledge and tools for online safety.

This workshop reflects the ongoing commitment of EITHOS to raising awareness about cybersecurity and empowering individuals to protect themselves against digital threats.
