Thanks our partnership with Herta, Ethos participated at the Horizon Europe Info Days event for Cluster 3, Civil Security to Society, last 17th July in Catalonia.
The event was organised by ACCIÓ, the business competitiveness agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Herta was one of the three speakers in the section “Success Stories from Catalonia”, in which they shared their experience with European projects.
During Herta’s presentation, they introduced the EITHOS project, covering the following points:
- The consortium partners
- The duration of the project, which runs until September 2025, and its aim to improve awareness and prevention of online identity theft.
- Explanation of OIDT (Online Identity Theft) and Deepfakes
- The socio-demographic profile of OIDT victims
Herta concluded her presentation by talking about:
- Her experience with other European projects (Empower, Starlight)
- Her gratitude and the benefits of participating in European projects
- Her current lines of research

Herta broad experience in the development of solutions and computer vision is enhancing Eithos’ project.
