EITHOS at EUROPOL conference!

In this context, thanks to our partnership with KEMEA, the EITHOS project was presented during the conference. The presentation was held by Elisabeth Bellou, MSc, PhD, Research Associate at the KEMEA Center of Studies.

Ms. Bellou’s speech

At the EDEN conference, Ms. Bellou introduced Online identity theft, and the tools used to detect it. In doing so, she explored the EITHOS project, explaining the mechanism behind a deepfake detection tools.

Elisabeth Bellou’s research focus and her experience

With a research project focused on Electronic and Computer Engineering, Elisabeth Bellou has an extensive professional experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), working as a UAV technician in Law Enforcement. Her research involves in the implementation of the latest instance segmentation and object detection algorithms, on a custom-built quadcopter UAV, with adequate sensors (optical sensors, electromagnetic detectors, etc.) for autonomous missions.

The KEMEA Center of Studies

The KEMEA Center of Studies, overseen by the Ministry of Citizen Protection, conducts both theoretical and applied research, particularly at a strategic level, on security and policy matters.
