📑 Incidents of OIDT have multiplied in recent years. Most data breaches fuel digital identity theft and it’s not solely the fault of individuals. Some scammers are very convincing and could deceive even the most well-trained eye. Even security-aware individuals might inadvertently disclose information at times.
On other occasions, technology inadvertently discloses that information for us. This is due to the fact that cyber-criminals exhibit an inventive range of tactics in their modus operandi in order to trick victims into disclosing personal information pretending to be trusted organizations.
